Why We Started
Harmukh Kashir

Kashmir is home to some of the world's most extraordinary natural products — saffron, walnuts, honey, shilajit — and yet most of what reaches Indian households is adulterated, mislabelled, or sourced through layers of middlemen who care nothing for quality.

Harmukh Kashir was founded with one belief: if you want pure Kashmir in your home, you deserve to know exactly where it came from. We built direct relationships with Kashmiri farmers and harvest each product at source — then pack and ship with full traceability.

The name comes from Mount Harmukh — the sacred Himalayan peak that watches over the Sindh valley. Like the mountain, our commitment is unchanging: pure, elevated, and deeply Kashmiri.

The Harmukh Story

2024 — The Idea

A Frustration Becomes a Mission

After buying saffron repeatedly from Amazon and supermarkets — only to get powder, artificial colour, and zero fragrance — we decided to go directly to Kashmir ourselves.

Early 2025 — The Valley

First Trip to Pampore

We visited saffron farms in Pampore — the heartland of Kashmiri saffron. We met farmers, saw the harvest, and understood what real saffron looks, smells and tastes like.

Mid 2025 — The Brand

Harmukh Kashir is Born

We launched harmukhkashir.com with our core commitment: whole saffron threads only, direct from farmers, with full origin transparency. The response was overwhelming.

August 2025 — Expansion

Beyond Saffron

Responding to customer love, we expanded into Mamra Badam, Shilajit, Honey, Kahwa and Gift Sets — all held to the same zero-adulteration standard as our saffron.

2026 — What's Next

Growing With the Valley

We're deepening farmer partnerships, launching lab testing documentation per batch, expanding our gift range, and growing the Harmukh family across India.
